How a shift in focus can help you reach your goal.

I wanted to share a little tip that makes a big difference when it comes to reaching our goals.

It's all about shifting our focus from what we can't have to what we truly want.

Let's face it, telling ourselves "I can't eat another cookie" feels like we're depriving ourselves of a little bit of joy, right?

And that feeling of deprivation often leads us astray from our plans faster than we'd like to admit.

But what if we flipped the script?

Instead of dwelling on what we can't have, why not focus on what we really want?

For me, it's all about feeling my best—energized, confident, and healthy. It’s about having the freedom to do whatever I want.

When I keep that vision front and center, suddenly saying no to that extra cookie doesn't feel like a punishment. It feels like a step closer to my goal, a choice that aligns with what I truly desire.

Think about it: every decision we make is a step towards reaching our goal … or not.

By shifting our focus to what we want to achieve—whether it's fitting into the clothes in our closet, feeling confident when we’re out and about, or simply having more energy to enjoy life—we're not just setting goals, we're setting ourselves up for success.

So, the next time you catch yourself saying "I can't," try reframing it as "I want to."

Trust me, it's a game-changer.

Focus on what you truly want and watch how much easier it becomes to reach your goal – whether it’s weight loss or something else!

Want to give it a try? Just consider what you're going to use as your “Power Sentence”.  What are you going to start telling yourself?

One that many clients say works really well for them is “I take care of my body, and my body takes care of me.

I’d love to hear what you find works for you!
